Yiqun Gan is a professor at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Peking University. She has published over 180 research papers, with 80 of them within the recent 5 years appearing in high-impact journals such as Psychological Medicine, Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews, Journal of Anxiety Disorders, Journal of the American Medical Directors Association, and Health Psychology, averaging 16 papers per year. She has also led multiple national research projects, which have had a significant academic impact. Currently,she serves as the co-Editor-in-Chief of the international SSCI journal "Applied Psychology: Health and Wellbeing" (IF=6.9) and as the Associate Editor for domestic top journals such as "Acta Psychologica Sinica," "Advances in Psychological Science," "Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology" and “Psych Journal”. She is the Chair of the Behavioral and Health Psychology division of the Chinese Psychological Society and the President of the Health Psychology Division of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP). She is a Fellow of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and an Outstanding International Member (fellow equivalent) of the Health Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association (APA). Her research primarily focuses on stress coping and health psychology.
