周广玉研究员2008年毕业于华中师范大学心理学院,获理学学士学位。2012年获北京大学心理学系(现北京大学心理与认知科学学院)应用心理学硕士学位。2015年获德国柏林自由大学教育与心理学院哲学博士学位。2015年至2017年在柏林自由大学和美国南卡罗莱纳大学从事博士后研究工作。2017年11月起任北京大学心理与认知科学学院研究员、博士生导师。

研究领域是健康心理学,致力于回答“社会心理因素(如:经济地位、疾病歧视、工作压力、家庭支持)是如何影响人类身体健康、心理健康和社会功能的?”。实验室以多类型群体为研究对象(健康人群、慢性疾病患者、孕产妇、性少众、老年人),采用多种研究方法(深度访谈、焦点小组、问卷、实验室实验、现场研究、在线干预)和测量手段(自我报告和客观生化指标),揭示影响健康的因素和路径,并设计干预方案提升人类健康水平。

目前在中国心理学会行为与健康专业委员会任副主任委员、秘书。担任国际SSCI期刊Frontiers in Psychology健康心理学栏目副主编,国际SSCI期刊Applied Psychology: Health and Wellbeing编委。作为Guest Editor在Applied Psychology: Health and Wellbeing杂志组织“COVID-19 and Health: Psychosocial and Behavioral Perspectives”专刊;作为Guest Associate Editor在Frontiers in Neuropsychology杂志组织“Recent Advances of Evidence-Based Neuropsychology”专刊。
